What the site is

RefundCalculatorprovides free informational calculators and guides about UK tax. It is not HMRC, not a claims management company, and not a tax adviser. Estimates are general illustrations using published rates; your actual position is whatever HMRC's records and the law say it is.

No advice, no reliance

  • Nothing here is personal tax, legal or financial advice.
  • Verify important decisions with HMRC (free) or a qualified tax professional.
  • We are not liable for losses from relying on an estimate, to the extent the law allows.

Acceptable use

  • Use the calculators for lawful, personal estimation.
  • Don't scrape, overload, or attempt to break the service.
  • The contact form is for genuine correspondence and error reports — spam may be rate-limited or blocked.
  • Copyright in our content and code is reserved; short quotations with attribution are fine, wholesale copying is not.

We link to GOV.UK and other official sources prominently. We do not control those services; their availability, terms and privacy practices are theirs.

Changes and contact

Terms may be updated with a visible change of the date above where material. Questions go through the contact page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
