Corrections
Tax content that is wrong costs people money. If you spot an error — a rate, a rule, a broken route — we want to hear about it, and we log substantive fixes publicly.
Report an error
Use the contact formand choose "Report an error" as the reason. Tell us the page, the figure or statement you believe is wrong, and — if you have it — the GOV.UK or HMRC source that contradicts it. You do not need an account and we ask for no personal details beyond a reply address.
What happens next:
- Reports are triaged within three working days (faster for live-rate errors in April).
- If you are right: the page is fixed and, where the error was substantive, logged below.
- If you are wrong: we reply with the primary source, politely.
- Either way you get an answer. Empty acknowledgements are not our style.
